This week in math we are continuing our unit on place value.  We did a unit on place value earlier in the year, but we are now extending it to numbers to 1,200.  Our stations in guided math will focus on reviewing concepts of measurement and learning new concepts with me at "Teacher Feature".   Key vocabulary for our new unit includes:

In science this week we are continuing our unit on weather and the water cycle.  We will discuss the four seasons, identify the importance of weather and seasonal information to make choices in clothing, activities and transportation.  We will also discuss instruments used to measure weather and graph our weather as well.
